Hi, This is Shubhra Datta, recent college Graduate from the University of Texas at El Paso.
I received my Master's degree in Computer Science in December 2011 with 4.0 GPA. I am actively looking for full-time job opportunity as software engineer or web application developer in California bay area. I am a dedicated, hard-working person with a passion for learning and creative thinking with a "Can-do" attitude. I believe in simple living and high thinking.
I was born on 4th February 1985 in Howrah, West Bengal, India. I completed my secondary and higher secondary education in July 2003 under West Bengal Board of Higher Secondary Education. Then I entered into West Bengal University of Technology in the fall of 2003 and I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering in the spring of 2007. In fall 2007, I joined Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd. as a Software Engineer and continued to work there till fall 2008. In the spring of 2009, I resumed my studies at The University of Texas at El Paso for my Master's degree. I did my Thesis in Constraint Programming. While pursuing my Master's degree in Computer Science, I also worked as a Research Assistant under Dr. Nigel Word for the spring 2009. After that I got an offer from the Center for Research, Evaluation and Planning department of UTEP to work as Research Assistant. Since 2010 I became a full-time employee of the Center and I am still working there as Application Developer.
